About RHDO: Relief Humanitarian and Development Organization (RHDO) is a nongovernmental, non- religious, non-political, non-profit and non-military organization, working for development of Afghanistan through implementation of health, community development and capacity development/research projects. RHDO was established in February 2014 and is registered with the Ministry of Economics under registration No 3121. RHDO is also registered in Ministry of Public health under registration # 504. RHDO is registered in Ministry of Women affairs under registration # 751. RHDO aims to contribute to the development of Afghanistan through provision of developmental and humanitarian services in public health, training and capacity building of Afghans in healthcare disciplines and skills. RHDO starts to realize its vision through implementable, context-specific, technically sound and practically achievable approaches. These approaches are: (1) to design and implement the community development programs; (2) to provide primary and secondary health services according to the standards of the MOPH; and (3) to build capacities and skills of ordinary Afghanistan residences and professional of health sector. Since its establishment, RHDO starts to implement 4 health projects as BPHS-SEHAT2 implementer in Kandahar, Paktika, Faryab and Ghazni provinces as partner with AADA, BARAN, M-MRCA, and OHPM. RHDO is implementing BPHS- SEHAT3 in Samangan and Sar-e pul as partner with SHDP and ORCD. RHDO is sub partner with CARE International for the implementation of Emergency Drought Response in Northern Afghanistan (EDRNA) (the “Project”) awarded to CARE on December 1st, 2018 in Samangan province.

Job Description

  • Training Health staff on WHO Covid-19 prevention, mitigation and case management.
  • Prepare training material and provide training to the CHWs in identified districts of Ghazni provinces.
  • Plan and conduct training for health workers on proper use of PPE kits, preparation of disinfecting solution and disinfection of HFs
  • Prepare training materials in line with the MoPH recommendations and print training material/handouts for the trainees.
  • Provide one day orientation to influential and religious leaders on risk reduction and prevention.
  • Assist Project Manager in finalizing Information, Communication and Education IEC material in line with the MoPH recommendations.
  • Coordinate with PPHD and health partners including BPHS implanting NGO for better results at the area of responsibility for the update training material for the COVID-19 response.
  • Oversee and manage smooth implementation of the activities of the project according to the project work plan. 
  • Provide activity reports and develop success stories from the relevant health teams and community
  • Conduct monitoring visits from the project activities in the field.
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirement:

  • Graduated From Recognize Medical University/preferred MPH
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in training of health professionals, CHWs and communities preferably in NGO set up
  • Demonstrated ability in competency-based adult education and clinical training
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Spoken and written competence in English, Dari and/or Pashtu
  • Able to travel freely to project sites at District level.
  • Ability to speak and write understandably in English desirable
  • Good computer skills; including ability to use Word Excel, power point presentation and email programs properly

Job Requirement

  • Education: Graduated From Recognize Medical University/preferred MPH

Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in an Master Trainer/Supervisor position responsible for implementing Master Trainer/Supervisor activities of international development projects.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and operating project Master Trainer/Supervisor systems from project initiation to closeout stages.
  • Experience in strategic planning and performance measurement, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing Master Trainer/Supervisor and performance monitoring plans.
  • Experience in planning and managing surveys.
  • Experience in developing and refining data collection tools.
  • Experience in managing and providing training to partners and target beneficiaries.
  • Ability to facilitate and serve as project liaison for externally-managed evaluations.

Languages: Excellent written and spoken command of Pashto , Dari and English. Knowledge of Filipino preferred.
