Job Description
- Recording in a proper accounting book of daily expenses and incomes
- When processing expense reports, ensure that the proper approval signatures are obtained and that the necessary receipts accompany the report.
- Perform funds transfers and other banking transactions as necessary.
- Conduct safe reconciliation at the beginning and end of each day.
- Help the Finance Manager prepare monthly financial statements, and other reports according to established format and deadlines.
- Help month-end closings, including bank and cash reconciliations.
- Ensure all expenses have been accurately classified in the appropriate accounts.
- Help ensure financial and accounting integrity of Finance Department systems.
- Maintain positive communication with other members of the Finance staff and other departments.
- Payroll management and ensure processing of staff salaries on time.
- Daily cash control/counting under the supervision of the Finance Manager.
- Encode all the bankbook and the checkbook of the company.
- Monitors and process payment of all outstanding bills
- Follow the proper payment system of all the taxes
- Prepares invoices for payment (by cash check or bank transfer).
- Filing of all the relevant financial documents in hard and soft form.
- Managing all the cash transactions in the workplace
- Maintaining daily account of the daily transactions
- Balancing the daily account at the end of each day
- Solving all the cash related queries
- Making daily, weekly and monthly transaction reports
- Cash withdrawal from the bank for all projects per their need.
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirement
Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master Preferred) in Finance, Accounting, Management, Business, Economics, Public Administration or related field.
- Special skills of developing financial management and information systems including databases are required
- Practical knowledge and experience in private sector financial management systems
- Broad knowledge of and linkages between the key areas of the budget and accountability cycle including; budget planning, preparation and execution, procurement and revenue management including taxation.
- Proven ability to conduct analysis of public sector systems
Experience: Minimum of 03 years of relevant experience with NGOs, INGOs or Public/Private sector.
- Experience in QuickBooks financial software.
- Must be an expert in utilizing QuickBooks.
- Professional experience in Taxation.
Language: Excellent language proficiency in spoken and written Dari, Pashto and English.
